# Mahar Mobile vs MyID

The clearest difference is rating: Mahar Mobile at 3.4 against MyID's 2.8. MyID's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mahar Mobile sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. MyID asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mahar Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyID has 7.6K ratings behind it against 564, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Mahar Mobile's written reviews are positive against 16% of MyID's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mahar Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, MyID every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
