# Kronos vs Redstone Guide

The clearest difference is ads: Kronos at none against Redstone Guide's shown. Kronos also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kronos sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Redstone Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kronos holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 895 and 1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Kronos's written reviews are positive against 66% of Redstone Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
