# River Comics vs Digi

The clearest difference is rating: River Comics at 4.2 against Digi's 3.0. River Comics also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. River Comics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Digi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

River Comics holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: River Comics has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

River Comics ships an update every 2 weeks, Digi every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
