# Backtrackit vs slowscribe

The clearest difference is rating: slowscribe at 5.0 against Backtrackit's 4.1. Backtrackit's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backtrackit sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and slowscribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

slowscribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backtrackit has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
