# Bullfrog Spas CloudControl 2™ vs Sunlighten

The clearest difference is rating: Sunlighten at 2.7 against Bullfrog Spas CloudControl 2™'s 1.6. Sunlighten also leads on ratings volume (88 vs 13). Bullfrog Spas CloudControl 2™'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sunlighten holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sunlighten has 88 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Bullfrog Spas CloudControl 2™'s written reviews are positive against 20% of Sunlighten's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bullfrog Spas CloudControl 2™ ships an update every 2 months, Sunlighten every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
