# TriviaMatic vs Awesome Con

The clearest difference is rating: Awesome Con at 3.3 against TriviaMatic's 2.5. TriviaMatic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Awesome Con holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 66 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of TriviaMatic's written reviews are positive against 0% of Awesome Con's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TriviaMatic ships an update every 2 weeks, Awesome Con every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
