# Xtars vs SelGreat

The clearest difference is rating: SelGreat at 4.2 against Xtars's 2.3. SelGreat also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Xtars's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xtars sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and SelGreat sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SelGreat holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Xtars's written reviews are positive against 25% of SelGreat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Xtars ships an update every 3 weeks, SelGreat weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
