# GetCourse vs English Galaxy Английский язык

GetCourse and English Galaxy Английский язык both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of English Galaxy Английский язык's written reviews are positive against 28% of GetCourse's. GetCourse's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1.4K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetCourse sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and English Galaxy Английский язык sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GetCourse holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetCourse has 14K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of GetCourse's written reviews are positive against 77% of English Galaxy Английский язык's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GetCourse ships an update every 6 weeks, English Galaxy Английский язык every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
