# GetCourse vs Сфера

GetCourse and Сфера both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Сфера's written reviews are positive against 28% of GetCourse's. Сфера also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). GetCourse's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 8). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetCourse sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Сфера sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GetCourse against 5.0 for Сфера. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetCourse has 13K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of GetCourse's written reviews are positive against 100% of Сфера's.

GetCourse ships an update every 6 weeks, Сфера every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
