# GetCourse vs Focus Pot

GetCourse and Focus Pot both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Focus Pot's written reviews are positive against 28% of GetCourse's. Focus Pot also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). GetCourse's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetCourse sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Focus Pot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GetCourse against 5.0 for Focus Pot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetCourse has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of GetCourse's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus Pot's.

GetCourse ships an update every 6 weeks, Focus Pot every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
