# Fire Burst! vs SpaceShot!

The clearest difference is rating: SpaceShot! at 5.0 against Fire Burst!'s 4.2. Fire Burst!'s advantage is ratings volume (357 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fire Burst! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SpaceShot! sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpaceShot! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fire Burst! has 357 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fire Burst! ships an update monthly, SpaceShot! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
