# Zuul Guard vs SkyBell

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Zuul Guard at 100% against SkyBell's 41%. Zuul Guard also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). SkyBell's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (12K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SkyBell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyBell has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Zuul Guard's written reviews are positive against 41% of SkyBell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zuul Guard ships an update every 2 weeks, SkyBell every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
