# EO Recipes vs Writing Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Writing Tracker at 100% against EO Recipes's 43%. Writing Tracker also leads on rating (3.5 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). EO Recipes's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EO Recipes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per year and Writing Tracker sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Writing Tracker holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of EO Recipes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Writing Tracker's.
