# Chromatic vs Pack Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chromatic at 95% against Pack Master's 42%. Chromatic also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Pack Master's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (37K vs 4.7K). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chromatic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pack Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chromatic holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pack Master has 37K ratings behind it against 4.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Chromatic's written reviews are positive against 42% of Pack Master's.

Chromatic ships an update every 5 months, Pack Master every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
