# AirHub vs Drones for DJI

The clearest difference is rating: Drones for DJI at 4.5 against AirHub's 2.6. Drones for DJI also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). AirHub's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drones for DJI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. AirHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drones for DJI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drones for DJI has 2.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of AirHub's written reviews are positive against 11% of Drones for DJI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AirHub ships an update every 5 weeks, Drones for DJI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
