# QR Code · vs ScanBar

The clearest difference is ads: ScanBar at none against QR Code ·'s shown. ScanBar also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). QR Code ·'s advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR Code · sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and ScanBar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
