# ReadMe vs TecViewer

ReadMe and TecViewer both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 98% of TecViewer's written reviews are positive against 67% of ReadMe's. TecViewer also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). ReadMe's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadMe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TecViewer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ReadMe against 4.7 for TecViewer. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 38 and 27 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of ReadMe's written reviews are positive against 98% of TecViewer's.
