# Ground Driller vs Dig Crossing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ground Driller at 60% against Dig Crossing's 20%. Dig Crossing's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ground Driller sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Dig Crossing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dig Crossing holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 498 and 297 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Ground Driller's written reviews are positive against 20% of Dig Crossing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ground Driller ships an update monthly, Dig Crossing every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
