# FastMath vs Pic Answer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pic Answer at 56% against FastMath's 17%. Pic Answer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). FastMath's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (51K vs 3.4K). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FastMath sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Pic Answer sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pic Answer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FastMath has 51K ratings behind it against 3.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of FastMath's written reviews are positive against 56% of Pic Answer's.

FastMath ships an update every 5 days, Pic Answer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
