# Map for SCUM vs Pixel Demolish

The clearest difference is rating: Pixel Demolish at 4.6 against Map for SCUM's 3.2. Pixel Demolish also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 38). Map for SCUM's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (41% vs 27%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Map for SCUM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixel Demolish sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pixel Demolish holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixel Demolish has 15K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Map for SCUM's written reviews are positive against 27% of Pixel Demolish's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Map for SCUM ships an update every 2 months, Pixel Demolish weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
