# Vocal Extractor vs Croonify

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Vocal Extractor at 497 against Croonify's 6. Croonify's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocal Extractor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Croonify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Vocal Extractor against 4.3 for Croonify. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vocal Extractor has 497 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of Vocal Extractor's written reviews are positive against 67% of Croonify's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
