# ShiftPosts vs Skip

The clearest difference is rating: Skip at 4.1 against ShiftPosts's 2.8. Skip also leads on ratings volume (86 vs 13). ShiftPosts's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 10%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skip holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skip has 86 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ShiftPosts's written reviews are positive against 10% of Skip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ShiftPosts ships an update monthly, Skip every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
