# NuWave vs Tablo

The clearest difference is rating: NuWave at 3.1 against Tablo's 1.9. NuWave also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 57 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of NuWave's written reviews are positive against 20% of Tablo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NuWave ships an update every 2 months, Tablo every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
