# NuWave vs The Network TV

The clearest difference is ads: NuWave at none against The Network TV's shown. NuWave also leads on rating (3.1 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). The Network TV's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 61 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of NuWave's written reviews are positive against 25% of The Network TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NuWave ships an update every 2 months, The Network TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
