# Password Manager：SecureSafe vs PPPassword

The clearest difference is ads: PPPassword at none against Password Manager：SecureSafe's shown. PPPassword also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Password Manager：SecureSafe's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager：SecureSafe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and PPPassword sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PPPassword holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Password Manager：SecureSafe's written reviews are positive against 87% of PPPassword's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Password Manager：SecureSafe ships an update every 3 months, PPPassword every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
