# CheckPointz vs ExtraMile®

The clearest difference is rating: ExtraMile® at 4.9 against CheckPointz's 3.0. ExtraMile® also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 1) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). CheckPointz's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ExtraMile® holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ExtraMile® has 3.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CheckPointz ships an update every 2 weeks, ExtraMile® every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
