# Pixel Shape vs Scryer

The clearest difference is ads: Scryer at none against Pixel Shape's shown. Scryer also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Pixel Shape's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixel Shape sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Scryer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pixel Shape ships an update every 2 weeks, Scryer every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
