# Number Links vs Sand Cascade

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sand Cascade at every 2 days against Number Links's every 18 months. Sand Cascade also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Number Links sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sand Cascade sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Number Links ships an update every 18 months, Sand Cascade every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
