# Pivot vs Switch Block

The clearest difference is ads: Switch Block at none against Pivot's shown. Switch Block also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pivot sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Switch Block sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pivot ships an update every 15 months, Switch Block every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
