# TrueCoach vs Coachable Labs

TrueCoach and Coachable Labs both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Coachable Labs's written reviews are positive against 41% of TrueCoach's. TrueCoach's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for TrueCoach against 5.0 for Coachable Labs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrueCoach has 36K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of TrueCoach's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coachable Labs's.

TrueCoach ships an update every 3 weeks, Coachable Labs fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
