# Backgammon Stars vs Pucket

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pucket at every 2 weeks against Backgammon Stars's every 2 months. Backgammon Stars's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon Stars sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Pucket sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Stars ships an update every 2 months, Pucket every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
