# Boojum vs SQUID Rewards

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SQUID Rewards at 71% against Boojum's 38%. SQUID Rewards also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Boojum's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boojum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SQUID Rewards has 43 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Boojum's written reviews are positive against 71% of SQUID Rewards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Boojum ships an update every 2 months, SQUID Rewards every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
