# WILLPORT vs Hold Something

The clearest difference is monetization model: Hold Something at free against WILLPORT's free with in-app purchases. Hold Something also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). WILLPORT's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hold Something holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WILLPORT has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WILLPORT ships an update every 3 weeks, Hold Something weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
