# Naficy vs Ridwell

The clearest difference is rating: Ridwell at 4.9 against Naficy's 2.9. Ridwell also leads on ratings volume (8.9K vs 13) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Naficy's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ridwell holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 8.9K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Naficy's written reviews are positive against 73% of Ridwell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Naficy ships an update every 4 months, Ridwell every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
