# Purposity vs Tribu

The clearest difference is rating: Purposity at 4.3 against Tribu's 3.0. Purposity also leads on ratings volume (94 vs 2). Tribu's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (80% vs 65%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Purposity holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purposity has 94 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Purposity's written reviews are positive against 80% of Tribu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Purposity ships an update every 2 months, Tribu every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
