# Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac vs Teleprompter

The clearest difference is rating: Teleprompter at 4.6 against Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac's 3.2. Teleprompter also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 345). Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (45% vs 31%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Teleprompter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 1.7K ratings behind it against 345, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac's written reviews are positive against 31% of Teleprompter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac ships an update every 2 months, Teleprompter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
