# MPE SMART CONTROL vs Homegy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Homegy at weekly against MPE SMART CONTROL's every 3 months. Homegy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). MPE SMART CONTROL's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 82%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homegy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of MPE SMART CONTROL's written reviews are positive against 82% of Homegy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MPE SMART CONTROL ships an update every 3 months, Homegy weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
