# ScreenPal Screen Recorder vs FrameWink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FrameWink at 100% against ScreenPal Screen Recorder's 60%. FrameWink also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). ScreenPal Screen Recorder's advantage is ratings volume (5.4K vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenPal Screen Recorder sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and FrameWink sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
