# sendit vs Howbout

The clearest difference is ads: Howbout at none against sendit's shown. sendit's advantage is ratings volume (1.5M vs 51K) and review sentiment (60% vs 42%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sendit sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Howbout sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for sendit against 4.8 for Howbout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sendit has 1.5M ratings behind it against 51K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of sendit's written reviews are positive against 42% of Howbout's.

sendit ships an update every 8 days, Howbout weekly. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
