# LOVESTITCH vs MOD Boutique

The clearest difference is ads: MOD Boutique at none against LOVESTITCH's shown. MOD Boutique also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (3.7K vs 211). LOVESTITCH's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LOVESTITCH against 4.9 for MOD Boutique. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOD Boutique has 3.7K ratings behind it against 211, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of LOVESTITCH's written reviews are positive against 73% of MOD Boutique's.

LOVESTITCH ships an update fortnightly, MOD Boutique every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
