# AAPS Events vs ISPE

The clearest difference is rating: AAPS Events at 4.3 against ISPE's 3.3. AAPS Events also leads on ratings volume (199 vs 7). ISPE's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AAPS Events holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AAPS Events has 199 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of AAPS Events's written reviews are positive against 25% of ISPE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AAPS Events ships an update every 6 months, ISPE every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 10, 2026 and September 13, 2026 respectively.
