# My Wi vs WiFi Share

The clearest difference is ads: WiFi Share at none against My Wi's shown. WiFi Share also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WiFi Share sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Wi ships an update every 7 months, WiFi Share every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
