# Relaid vs Texaco

The clearest difference is ads: Relaid at none against Texaco's shown. Relaid also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (82% vs 60%). Texaco's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 48 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Texaco holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Texaco has 12K ratings behind it against 725, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Relaid's written reviews are positive against 60% of Texaco's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Relaid ships an update every 48 months, Texaco every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
