AcoustaLab combines everyday noise measurements with speaker and headphone checks in a local acoustic toolkit. Use the basic tools for measurements and listening checks, then choose Pro when you need advanced controls. No account or ads. BASIC TOOLS THAT STAY FREE • Measure environmental noise in dB with A/C/Z weighting, Fast/Slow response, Leq, minimum, maximum and duration. Name and annotate a stopped measurement, then export CSV. • Capture watermarked photos with readings, units, weighting, response, time, statistics and input information. Keep them in the app or share them explicitly. • Generate sine tones and unfiltered noise. Use fixed sweeps and guided checks for speakers, headphones and left/right channels. • Save 10 measurements, 10 watermarked photos and 3 basic custom presets. Delete unwanted items to save again. PRO TOOLS • Square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms, plus custom, stepped and repeating sweeps. • Noise filters and parameter controls. • Rattle Finder: mark a candidate frequency during a slow sweep, fine-tune it and replay a steady tone to confirm by listening. • A/B spectrum overlays and band differences between two captures. • Loopback calibration and compensation, device and room projects, and more archive storage. TRIAL AND PURCHASES Explicitly start one 24-hour local Pro trial without payment. It never renews or charges automatically. Previously started trials retain their original expiry. After the trial or Pro access ends, basic tools remain available and existing records can still be viewed, managed and exported. Free limits never automatically delete your records. Monthly and yearly Pro are Apple auto-renewable subscriptions. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase. All three plans include the same Pro features. Payment requires an explicit Apple purchase; available products and localized prices appear on Apple's purchase page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple subscription settings. Buying Lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription; check Manage Apple subscriptions. Restore Purchases is available in Settings. MEASUREMENT INFORMATION Built-in iPhone microphone readings use a general sensitivity assumption and have not been independently validated for absolute accuracy on your phone. Display limits are not a verified measurement range. A reference sound-pressure calibration requires independent reference equipment and a stable source. External or unknown inputs may show relative digital dBFS; spectra are relative analyses. AcoustaLab does not claim occupational sound-level instrument certification or automatic hardware fault diagnosis. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Microphone input, photos, presets and archives are processed or stored on device without automatic upload to a developer server. Files leave the app only when you select a destination through a system share or export flow. The camera captures sound-level photos without reading your existing photo library or requesting location. Start signal playback at a low system volume, increase gradually and consider the connected equipment.
