# Secret Planet vs MOHO

The clearest difference is rating: Secret Planet at 2.5 against MOHO's 1.5. Secret Planet also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2). MOHO's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 14%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret Planet sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MOHO sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Planet holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secret Planet has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Secret Planet's written reviews are positive against 33% of MOHO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secret Planet ships an update every 2 months, MOHO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
