# Blätter vs TV ePaper

The clearest difference is rating: Blätter at 5.0 against TV ePaper's 4.3. TV ePaper's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blätter sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year and TV ePaper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blätter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV ePaper has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of Blätter's written reviews are positive against 50% of TV ePaper's.

Blätter ships an update every 8 months, TV ePaper every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
