# SoM3 vs Magic Maker!

The clearest difference is update cadence: SoM3 at every 3 days against Magic Maker!'s every 36 months. SoM3 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoM3 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Magic Maker! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoM3 ships an update every 3 days, Magic Maker! every 36 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
