# SaveSense vs Light Alchemy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Light Alchemy at every 2 weeks against SaveSense's every 11 months. SaveSense's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SaveSense sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Light Alchemy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SaveSense ships an update every 11 months, Light Alchemy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
