# Elgato Stream Deck Mobile vs ComicBase Mobile

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ComicBase Mobile at none against Elgato Stream Deck Mobile's 5. ComicBase Mobile also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Elgato Stream Deck Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (5.7K vs 1) and review sentiment (42% vs 25%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elgato Stream Deck Mobile sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. ComicBase Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

ComicBase Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elgato Stream Deck Mobile has 5.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Elgato Stream Deck Mobile's written reviews are positive against 25% of ComicBase Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
