# Matific vs iPrint

The clearest difference is rating: Matific at 4.7 against iPrint's 3.0. Matific also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 24%) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 148). iPrint's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matific sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and iPrint sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Matific holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matific has 1.2K ratings behind it against 148, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Matific's written reviews are positive against 24% of iPrint's.

Matific ships an update every 6 weeks, iPrint every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
